Upcoming Projects..

Tue Oct 12, 2004, 4:41 PM
I've been thinking of different projects to do, and this si just about the only place I can post my ideas (so that I don't forget!) without losing them..
1. Comic panel made out of polymer clay. It sounds stupid, but it looks really cool in my mind.. I wonder how I'll do the speech bubbles?

2. Reeally big painting of a character inspired by the song "Lullaby" by The Cure. It wasn't supposed to be so big, but the sketch of his head turned out to take up an entire piece of paper! I wonder if there are even boards that tall (around 1'x8' or 10') available..

3. Painting/drawing/some other sort of art piece of a fairy-like person with her hair weaved into Chinese knots..I was thinking of a variation of a butterfly knot connected to two Sauvastika knots, and then divided into four round brocade knots.. Yes, this is very much inspired by the fantabulous hair weaving jobs done by Hrafnhildur Arnardottir (if you saw the cover of Bjork's new album, Medulla, you'll know how great she is). I so want to be able to do that!

4. I eventually want to make a clay sculpture of a person.. Even though I haven't fooled around with polyclay in awhile, but Dan Perez finally got me back into it..

Final Thought: Grrr! No more scanner until Christmas, I'm afraid. The situation's complicated, really (or not)- My mom's moving out, and taking all her stuff with her, including the scanner that she bought for me.. -_- Honestly. She even said that she probably wouldn't use it, but it was hers anyway.. That woman is the most selfish person I've had the displeasure to meet (let alone live with). No camera, either.. So, I guess it's just going to be tablet work for awhile. @_@ What a scary thought..

Petits Pois was my name in French class all through junior high. :aww: 7 years later it is still my fave vegetable name, next to Les Haricots Verts, which was recently featured in a video at weebls stuff.com :p
:iconsailorryokofuu:
Your teacher let you name yourself after a vegetable?! I had to choose from a list of real French names.. Genevieve is mine.. -__- Er.. what's haricots verts again? Green beans? We learned vegetables in seventh grade..
:iconphoenixzydeco:
only the greenest of beans....:p yeah, I was also named Pierre, which is my conformation name. WEeee!
:iconsailorryokofuu:
Pierre makes more sense..

Hi. I'm stalking you. I have no idea why I just said that, but I guess I -am- peculiar. Anyway, yes. In case you were wondering who I was, I am His Dark Materials on Gaia.

By the way, I love the way you graphise the lips.

Is graphise even a word?
